00103. Britannic III?. Cunard White Star. Art type image of the 2 funnel liner. Postally used 1951 in Hamilton Bermuda. "COME TO BERMUDA/THE ISLES OF REST" boxed slogan tied to a 2d Bermuda stamp.

00008.  Carnarvon Castle. Union Castle Line to South and East Africa - The Union-Castle Royal Mail Motor Vessel Carnarvon Castle. 20,141 tons/ Sepia card. Postally Used 1954 with 2½d stamp. SOUTHAMPTON PAQUEBOT Single circle postmark 1954. and stamped PAQUEBOT POSTED AT SEA about 60% clear. Wavy lines of  postmark  also across front corner.

-00065.  Carnarvon Castle. Union Castle Line to South and East Africa - The Union-Castle Royal Mail Motor Vessel Carnarvon Castle. 20,141 tons/ Sepia card. Postally Used 1952 with 2½d stamp which has been part removed. SOUTHAMPTON PAQUEBOT Single circle postmark 1952. and stamped PAQUEBOT POSTED AT SEA. Part of postmark also remains on front.

00097. "Duchess of Montrose", CALEDONIAN STEAM PACKET COMPANY.T.S. Launched 1930. Colour view, two funnels smoking. E.T.W. Dennis Ltd. Postally used 1957. light creases  

-00059. "Esperance Bay". Australian Commonwealth Line. Postally Used 1927. PAQUEBOT between wavy lines. Postage Due 1d stamp. Large printed 1d  with FB below. Reverse message. Passed Oile yesterday. Expect to reach Port Said ...changed to an inner cabin. Impression of postmark shows through on other side, but not the postmark itself.

00013.   "General Dufour", Switzerland -  Paddle Steamer. Large  single funnel paddle steamer approaching Geneva. Titled "2.1122 GENÈVE - Arrivée du Bateau". Black and white. Postally used 1926 Geneva with a part slogan. Stamp  removed from reverse. Small corner crease.

00016.   "Maid Of Orleans" Cross Channel steamer. Folkestone Harbour. Boat is near the quayside with passengers aboard and a few people watching. In service from 1959. Cross Channel Steamer. Shoesmith & Everidge Ltd. Postally used with a 4d QEII stamp 1969.

00109. Mauretania 2nd?, 3rd? Cunard White star. Art type image of 2 funnel liner. colour. Postally used 1951 with PAQUEBOT  double circle postmark (approx 50% visble of postamark). Reverse Message   "--We have just left Lands End behind....this is a lovely ship... I think it's nicer than the queen Mary...not as large of course but very nice...".  

00036.  R.M.S. Orontes. Orient Line. Full sepia view of the 2 funnel ship.   Postally used Freemantle Australia, 1949,  but stamp removed. Nice long descriptive message about the voyage in the Indian Ocian and the Red Sea etc. Crease.

00019. "Prince Charles", REGIE VOOR MARITIEM TRANSPORT. BELGIUM. Ostende. In service from 1930. Sepia view of the 2 funnel ship.NELS in a small circle. Postally used 1935. OOSTENDE  with "Visit Ostend, The Queen of Seaside Resorts"  Slogan.  tied to a 1935 Bruxelles  Exposition stamp. Reverse message "...There are very few on the boat...".

00018. QEII. Cunard Line. Colour full view. Printed Advert for cruising on the reverse. p.u. 1970.

-00041.    S.S.Siberian. Allan Line.Colour. creases and corner wear. The Art Publishing Co. Glasgow. Postally used  with 1908 Edward VII stamp part removed.

00066. "RMS Sylvania -  Cunard". Colour postcard of the single funnel liner. Creased  and repaired with tape on the reverse.  Postally used 1966 in USA sent airmail, with 8c & 7c stamps. Couple of stain spots.

-00020.   "S.S.Rob Roy". Loch Katrine.   Middle distance view of the ship with trees in the foreground and on the left with mountains in the distance. A nice early postcard, undivided back for the address and a small space below the image for a message. Some wear to one corner. Postally Used 1902.

Glasgow.. Paddle steamer.  1904. The Broomielaw. Animate colour scene of people on the quayside and paddle steamer leaving. Looks like another paddle steamer in the distance approaching and one in mid river.BRIGHOUSE/OC. Double circle 1904 postmark, addressed to Lytham. Caledonia Series postcard. Corner crease.

-00004. GB. Portsmouth Dockyard and Harbour. p.u. 1911. Passenger ferry in the foreground and one behind. Railtrack with train on viaduct supported on iron legs bends away to the right across the water;  naval four funnel ship on the left. Buildings and ships in distance.  Portsmouth.

0005. GB. Trent Landing stage. c1930s.  View of the small steamers with long funnels moored at the landing stages. "To Colwick Park" on the nearest gangway, a few people on the river bank, bridge ahead in the distance and buildings and hills beyond. Valentine's Series.
